Pink Elephants, Chicken, and Movie Reviews

Let's start with the the movies:

Keeping up with the Steins
I was expecting this movie to be funnier. My favorite part was when the boy gets wasted and pukes. Jeremy Piven always makes me laugh, but overall I thought this film was just average. I heard so many great things about it, and I guess that's probably why I was so disappointed.

Pan's Labyrinth
Everyone can breathe a collective sigh of relief that I have finally seen the movie and won't be bugging everyone about it anymore. Amazing. Mesmerizing. Graphic. Violent. A little hard to stomach, but incredibly imaginative and dark. I left the film very sad, and quiet (with barely enough time to refill the stupid parking meter), but full of ideas. My brain turned for hours after the film was over - and not just because of the big pink elephant.

Had my first migraine since visiting the neurologist. She had given me this fast-acting, dissolving pill to take. I took it. I experienced the weirdest things! Friday - Euphoria. Saturday - suicidal tendencies. yikes! The pharmacist has suggested that next time I only take half the pill... So I will only be half euphoric and half suicidal??

Also - Tania is encouraging me to break rules # 1,4,5,6, and 11. I think I got the count right...

Two more weekends of GMAT class to go. Thank goodness! This class is seriously starting to cramp my style. I barely have five minutes to myself! I'm planning on shaking things up on February 10th to celebrate my new found FREEDOM.

Tonight, I went to the gym for the second time this week. I signed up for a year, so I had better not waste my investment. I hurt. Every part of my body hurts. No pain, no gain, right???

So glad it's almost the weekend, even if that means I have to spend 8 hours in math class. EW! 8 hours of math!
