That's really all I have to say.
My life is consumed with the GMAT and the Fringe and there isn't much time for anything else.
Study - study - study.
This was my break.
Back to math.

Movie review and my brain is mush
I've just spent the entire day studying. I took a few tiny breaks to do some laundry, clean and eat. I feel gross, and my head is pounding. I feel a TINY bit better about the GMAT. I still have a very long way to go.
I saw Dave and Selin on Thursday night, and that was VERY nice.
I also ran into chicken which was amusing on so many levels. I chuckled all the way home with my cousin.
Last night, Abby and I saw a movie:
Notes on a Scandal
Whoa - Dame Judy Dench definitely deserves an award. She was SO creepy in this film. Also - the musical score was unbelievable. Took the creepiness to a whole other level. I really enjoyed it. I was initially afraid that I would be bored, but I was just the opposite.
Tonight. Date night.
Tomorrow - more studying and lots of rehearsing and auditioning.
Good times. Happy weekend!

Whatever?
A brief definition of the word WHATEVER:
what·ev·er /ʰwʌtˈɛvər, ʰwɒt-, ʰwət-, wʌt-, wɒt-, wət-/ [hwuht-ev-er, hwot-, hwuht-, wuht-, wot-, wuht-] –pronoun
1. anything that (usually used in relative clauses): Whatever you say is all right with me.
2. (used relatively to indicate a quantity of a specified or implied antecedent): Take whatever you like of these.
3. no matter what: Do it, whatever happens.
4. any or any one of a number of things whether specifically known or not: papers, magazines, or whatever.
5. what (used interrogatively): Whatever do you mean? –adjective
6. in any amount; to any extent: whatever merit the work has.
7. no matter what: whatever rebuffs he might receive.
8. being what or who it may be: Whatever the reason, he refuses to go.
9. of any kind (used as an intensifier following the noun or pronoun it modifies): any person whatever. –interjection
10. (used to indicate indifference to a state of affairs, situation, previous statement, etc.)
I realized today, that I despise the word whatever. If you have something to say - don't whatever me! I've been whatevered twice this week, and we're only Tuesday.
The stitches are sticking out of my cheek and my dad is going to cut the ends off tonight. Ew!

Happy Weekend
While you are all enjoying your weekend, please think of me. I will be studying. I'm taking a small break tomorrow to have lunch with my mom for her birthday... Dinner and a movie with chicken tomorrow night - I have to eat... and then STUDY STUDY STUDY.
I officially signed up for the GMAT this week. Yikes! Bye bye $250USD... I'm not telling anyone the date... but I promise - everyone will know when it's over (provided that I do well).
Dinner at the parents tonight. Corey sold Guy Carbonneau a computer today. My mom wonders if it will help the Habs play better.
That's it that's all...
Holding some Fringe auditions this weekend to cast the role of Sondra. I'm actually excited about this...

Biopsies, castrations, and going away parties
First off - movie review:
Hard Candy
I had been wanting to see this movie for quite a while. I loved it. It was completely fucked up. There wasn't anything really special about it, no crazy cinematography. Very few actors... I kept asking "where's Sandra Oh" the whole time. Seriously - if you like a good thriller - rent this movie. This movie makes castration VERY real...
Saturday night I had my big "going away" party. I am now gone. Banished to my dining room table until further notice. Tonight, I did 40 math problems. I really dislike math right now. I get totally frustrated when I get a question wrong. I make really silly mistakes and usually the same ones... I've got to re-teach myself study habits.
Yesterday, I had Kaden's much-postponed 4th birthday party. He's too much!!! I love that kid.
Today, I went for a biopsy. I was a tough cookie - for part of the time. And then I almost passed out/ puked on myself. That part wasn't fun. I ended up leaving the office early and giving myself some TLC - and a good dose of Oprah.
Happy Monday!

Worst movie I have EVER seen
Employee of the Month
Gigli was an Oscar award winning movie by comparison.
Shit I tell you.
And all because Tony wanted a movie with boobs... Tania and I had to SUFFER!

Pink Elephants, Chicken, and Movie Reviews
Let's start with the the movies:
Keeping up with the Steins
I was expecting this movie to be funnier. My favorite part was when the boy gets wasted and pukes. Jeremy Piven always makes me laugh, but overall I thought this film was just average. I heard so many great things about it, and I guess that's probably why I was so disappointed.
Pan's Labyrinth
Everyone can breathe a collective sigh of relief that I have finally seen the movie and won't be bugging everyone about it anymore. Amazing. Mesmerizing. Graphic. Violent. A little hard to stomach, but incredibly imaginative and dark. I left the film very sad, and quiet (with barely enough time to refill the stupid parking meter), but full of ideas. My brain turned for hours after the film was over - and not just because of the big pink elephant.
Had my first migraine since visiting the neurologist. She had given me this fast-acting, dissolving pill to take. I took it. I experienced the weirdest things! Friday - Euphoria. Saturday - suicidal tendencies. yikes! The pharmacist has suggested that next time I only take half the pill... So I will only be half euphoric and half suicidal??
Also - Tania is encouraging me to break rules # 1,4,5,6, and 11. I think I got the count right...
Two more weekends of GMAT class to go. Thank goodness! This class is seriously starting to cramp my style. I barely have five minutes to myself! I'm planning on shaking things up on February 10th to celebrate my new found FREEDOM.
Tonight, I went to the gym for the second time this week. I signed up for a year, so I had better not waste my investment. I hurt. Every part of my body hurts. No pain, no gain, right???
So glad it's almost the weekend, even if that means I have to spend 8 hours in math class. EW! 8 hours of math!

I'm BAAAAAAACK
Here's a brief run-down of my trip. I will be posting some pics on my flickr site at some point this weekend.
Jan 3rd
Landed and got right to work. It was a long day because of the time change, but I adjusted quickly enough. Saw Tony and Tina's wedding which was so much fun. Went to bed at 9:30.
Jan 4th
Breakfast at the hotel (mmmmmmmm.... bacon and eggs). Lunch at the hotel too. Dinner at the Carnegie Deli at the Mirage. It was so yummy there! I ate a tiny part of the biggest sandwich I have ever had in my life! It was so big it fed four people for lunch the next day. Worked really hard, got a lot accomplished. We were more than ready to rock and roll when our co-workers arrived. Even managed to fit in a trip to Target. Bought a cute necklace with a giant strawberry on it.
Jan 5th
Breakfast at the hotel (mmmmmmmmmm... fruit, yogurt and granola! I had lunch at the hotel too. Dinner was with the whole gang at a place called the Burger Bar. The food was so delicious! I had buffalo for the first time, and I really liked it. Buffalo with carmelized onions, aged cheddar, jalapeno peppers... mmmm.
Jan 6th
Breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel. All buffet. All in our booth. The food was very yummy. I enjoyed the "make-your-own-sanwich" bar the most.
Jan 7th
Again all in the booth. That night we had a huge party that involved karaoke, food, and me still being drunk on Monday morning. Oops!! Monday was NOT an easy day for me.

Jan 8th
My head hurt, my body hurt. When I went to pee I couldn't get off the toilet because I was so dizzy... Breakfast - I definitely enjoyed the bacon. Lunch - can't remember what I ate... but I am sure it tasted good. Dinner was at a place called Little Buddha at the Palms. The sushi was really good, the rest was just average. I took a great photo of my dinner which will go up on flickr when I have 5 minutes.

Jan 9th
Breakfast and lunch in the booth - as usual. Still yummy. Dinner at Wolfgang Puck's bar and grill. Yummy crab cakes, and a delicious chicken pizza. It was a light, but much needed dinner.
Jan 10th
Debauchery. Brekafast and lunch in the booth. Dinner at Chinois - which has to be one of my all time favorite places. And then dance the night away at OPM night club. SCANDALS I tell you... That's my friend Brian and I dancing - he's not scandalous at all...

Jan 11th
Come home.

Leaving on a jet plane
Happy 2007 one and all!
A few things:
1. I forgot a movie review! I saw the film Kinky Boots last weekend and totally forgot about it... That's too bad, because I really enjoyed it. definite must-see for anyone who appreciates British humour.
2. New year's was super awesome. Enough said.
3. I'm leaving tomorrow for Vegas. I'll have to keep track of everything so that I have lots to write about when I get back.
I will miss you all.
